I am the Blazers, and have 13+ Million in cap room.
I was going for defense and I wanted to get a veteran because I traded away Raef LaFrentz. Also, I get a young slasher/ defender, which is exactly what my team is.
Blazers get: SF Trevor Ariza, PF Ben Wallace
Cavaliers get: SF Lamar Odom, PF Ike Diogu
Lakers get: SF Travis Outlaw, SF Wally Szczerbiak
This trade works cap wise for all teams, but I haven’t tried it out yet. I think this is pretty fair because all three teams get and average of the two players between 75 and 78. I was looking to dish out my sixth man, Outlaw, because Rudy Fernandez was unhappy with his minutes, and now he is the sixth man.
This is my new line-up if the trade follows through.
PG: Steve Blake (S), Jerryd Bayless (P), Sergio Rodriguez (P-IR)
SG: Brandon Roy (S), Rudy Fernandez (SM), Luke Jackson (BW-IR)
SF: Martell Webster (S), Trevor Ariza (RP), Nicolas Batum (P)
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge (S), Ben Wallace (RP), Channing Frye (RP), Darrell Arthur (P-IR), traded straight up for Raef
C: Greg Oden (S), Joel Przybilla (RP)
S- Starter, SM- Sixth Man, RP- Role Player, P- Prospect, BW- Bench Warmer.
*The ‘(IR)’ does not indicate that he is injured, but just on the reserves list if someone gets injured. Can someone tell me how good Ariza is at driving and drawing fouls, because I do that with all my G-F, minus Blake and Webster, and it works out pretty well.
Also, I am not looking to acquire any superstars, because all I need is Roy, 30PPG, and Oden 20PPG/ 10RPG. I need someone that can back-up Roy to defend a Kobe, LeBron or a Wade. And for Wallace, get blocks, rebs, steals, and defend a Dirk, Boozer, KG, Amare quality player.

Can someone tell me if this will actually work, you may need to clear some cap first.
